My family and I moved into a new construction home right before winter hit, so I was a little skeptical that we would be getting grass. Fortunately, sod was laid shortly after so it was a nice surprise!
Unfortunately, construction on the houses behind us prevented us from taking advantage of our yard… until now!! Foundation and frames are set, and when I look out my back window it no longer looks (or sounds) like a scene from a monster truck rally.
I was asked to review the Little Tikes Go Green Play House and I gladly accepted, making the first use of our backyard. Putting this together literally marks the first time I stepped foot in there.
I was alone at home with Addison and decided that it was time to start assembling the house. Because we have no fence yet, I had to be really strategic about not being able to supervise her during the process. My solution? I dumped all the pieces in the living room and took them out one by one. As soon as Sweet Pea got an idea of what I was trying to build, she was keen on obeying my instructions to “take care of the pieces.” (I’m soooo sneaky!)
